If necessary, intermediate levels (designated with a +) may be added.

CLASS SIZE

FACULTY
Our teachers are language scholars who hold doctoral or master’s degrees (ISCED 5 and 6); all have completed special training in teaching German as a foreign language. All are certified examiners for the Austrian German Language Diploma (ÖSTERREICHISCHES SPRACHDIPLOM DEUTSCH).

TESTS
Tests to evaluate progress are conducted once a week. To be eligible for a course completion certificate and grade, one must attend 80% of course meetings and pass all tests. U.S. university semester credits may be granted through the Bowling Green State University summer language program. Contacts: Dr. Theodore Rippey (theodor@bgsu.edu), Dr. Edgar Landgraf (elandgr@bgsu.edu). Credit transfer: 60 ISK instructional hours = 4 semester credit hours; 120 IFK instructional hours = 8 credit hours.
